This A3 digital poster was made for an open call from a museum in Athens focusing on the 70s, 80s, and 90s  all that retro nostalgia goodness.

Since I’m into digital art, I decided to turn the theme into a poster that both celebrates and distorts that vintage digital feel.

The design features a clean white background with a big grid of smaller squares forming a larger square shape in the center. Each little square holds its own mini composition, packed with classic nostalgia icons like Pac-Man, pixel art, pizza, and vintage vibes think retro video games meets colorful 90s aesthetics etc.

What really pops is the typography: I wrote “retro nostalgia” in English but with Greek letters, stretched and tucked slightly behind the background for a subtle layered effect. Below, I did the same with “90s kids” again, using Greek letters to mimic the English word “kids,” with funky, colorful stars scattered evenly on top to add that playful burst of energy and color.

To level it up, I made a mini After Effects animation for Behance, where those shapes gently move, giving the poster a fun, dynamic twist that makes the nostalgia feel alive and interactive.

It’s simple but colorful, playful but clean a modern nod to the past with a little digital glitchy love.
