This piece started in the most intimate place: my everyday sketchbook the one I carry everywhere. It was a quick drawing of a flower bouquet I was gifted, captured in pencil and scanned to preserve the fragility of the moment.

From there, I pushed the drawing through a process of digital transformation: threshold effects, added grain, color overlays, and soft paint strokes made with a mouse. I split the image in half, creating space both visually and emotionally.

Layered on top, I added four glowing circles in lime green, orange, green, and deep red, each affecting the image with lighting mode effects and hue shifts. Inside and around these orbs, poetic fragments unfold:

It is all a part of the process
It always starts with a line
That doesn’t know where it’s going

This piece is somewhere between a visual poem and a digital experiment soft, uncertain, and honest.

Just like the creative process itself.
